About Us:
Chris and Yvonne Robertson recently left their Trout Farm in the Snowy Mountains.
It was there during the centenary drought that they first started to make their paté, from an old family recipe. It wasn’t long however before demand outstripped their ability to supply, so after much research they decided to retire from farming and bring their working knowledge of the industry to the N.S.W. Southern Highlands. Here they could make their paté on a daily basis which ensures quality of product and the ability to reach more fine food lovers. Chris and Yvonne would like to say that their paté was designed to be consumed in the cool quiet comfort of the family home and they hope your enjoyment of their paté will accompany many happy hours of conviviality and conversation. |
The Jams Jellies & Relishes on the other hand are an eclectic mixture of old family recipes, friend’s suggestions and Yvonne’s experimentation and love of food. She is one of those people who can read a recipe and actually taste it. This makes her current job more of a fun foodie hobby really says Chris. He on the other hand comes from a background of hotels, night clubs & Theatre restaurant, where he came in contact with some of today’s top chefs.

The couple met whilst both were working for one of Australia’s premier wine families and have been married for over twenty years for most of which Chris has selfishly kept Yvonne’s cooking to himself. |
